Postby Chantel » Fri Aug 28, 2009 11:45 am

Pip Brown aka Ladyhawke put out her debut self-titled album this time last year.

Unfortunately for local fans she's been based herself in Europe since the release... but today she announced she'll be back in Australia for a seven date tour in November.

Here are the dates:

Fri 6 Nov NEWCASTLE - Panthers
Sat 7 Nov SYDNEY - The Enmore
Wed 11 Nov CANBERRA - ANU
Thu 12 Nov MELBOURNE - The Forum
Fri 13 Nov ADELAIDE - HQ
Sat 14 Nov PERTH - Capitol

Tickets on sale September 8

Yeah I thought it might be a bit ambitious...

I reckon Metro would have been better.

Yeah, I wouldn't think she'd have such a solid fanbase to play there...

Bloody kiwi...

Nova 96.9FM absolutley LOVE her... but I don't suppose Nova listeners are exactly the kind of people to go to the Enmore. I'd personally expect her to play the Forum more than the Metro.

Surprised that you two like her. Seems a bit dull and lifeless to me. Though I suppose I do like that RHCP style breakdown in "My Delirium".

I love that song...

I actually really enjoy her album - especially the Stevie Nicks infused 'Oh My'.

Plus, I'm a sucker for a cool pop tune and 'My Delirium' was a pretty signature song for me for this summer...

"alternative pop" sounds like an oxymoron. I think I know what you mean by it, but it just SEEMS like a contradiction in terms.
...and yeah, it's one of the less annoying songs on mainstream radio. I still hate that bitch though.
