Never ones to take the conventional route when it comes to music videos, Weezer set out to conquer the Guiness Book of World Records in the clip for new single Troublemaker.
Over a day-long shoot, the band and volunteer fans broke several standing records. According to Rolling Stone, a Guiness official was there to witness the Largest Game of Dodgeball (two teams of 50 people), Most People in a Custard Pie Fight (120) and Largest Air Guitar Ensemble (223). The Troublemaker shoot also saw drummer Pat Wilson play the World’s Smallest Drum Kit. Perhaps most impressive were the Weezer devotees who broke the record for Longest Guitar Hero: World Tour Marathon, clocking in at 10 hours, 12 minutes and 54 seconds.
