Are you kidding? You even cover fucking Neil Young...

What songs sound like Muse, specifically?

What Muse songs do they sound like, specifically?

Many artists cover Neil Young.

I cant give you specifics, its just the dramatic style and layers of sound mixed with the distored guitar. I guess Muse are the only other band I can think of, because i only know 3 bands: KOL, Pearl Jam and Muse.

That's why I don't SERIOUSLY use the term "Nu Metal". Korn blew my mind when they came out (I was a fan when they had only one album). I don't mind Limp Bizkit's first LP.

The rest of the bands? I fucking despise them. Ever since Coal Chamber I totally lost interest in where that style seemed to be heading. Anything after Korn and early Deftones I don't even bother trying to give the time of day.

I LOVE nu metal, always have - and as much as I get paid out for it, I couldn't give a toss.

The fact remains, anyone that hears a Nu Metal influence in TLS are fucking kidding themselves.

Is there an actual label for these bands' music? This style isn't exactly NEW, as I've heard it developing for quite some years now, but I've always been a bit stumped as to what category it actually fits into. And I've never heard anyone refer to any one genre when mentioning bands of this style.
