A murder of crows

Same.
I never really got the comparison myself.
It's just what people have said after hearing one song.

Just as many people say we sound nothing like Muse as those that say we do.
Weird...

I think when bands say are influenced by, people automatically look to hear that sound directly in the music, rather then for what it is. an influence.

Yeah.
I mean, the influence is obviously there in certain parts of songs, but we by no means sound like a carbon copy, or as if we're even trying to.

I mean, even Chinese Whispers, the verses may have a Muse flavour to them, but the Chorus is nothing like what Muse would write...

Playing in a band like Hailer I'm not surprised he thinks that about the Locus Scene though

That's why I don't SERIOUSLY use the term "Nu Metal". Korn blew my mind when they came out (I was a fan when they had only one album). I don't mind Limp Bizkit's first LP.

The rest of the bands? I fucking despise them. Ever since Coal Chamber I totally lost interest in where that style seemed to be heading. Anything after Korn and early Deftones I don't even bother trying to give the time of day.
