Damn! Another one I can't decide with! Either that album or the first one.

I'd probably rate the first one over the second, even though The Color and the Shape contains their best song, Everlong...

why is "Everlong" their best song? i do agree that The Colour and the Shape is their best album and contains their best song though, just a different song.

Hmm... i was planning on the Black Sabbath self titled debut this Xmas anyhow, so i think that's a must. i want the remastered version though, not the cheap $10 dodgy version.

i've been planning on a few of the others too, just a matter of when i prioritise them and can afford them. But i already own several of those, or have at least heard them already. Even though Arise perfects the sound that Sepultura were trying to achieve on Beneath the Remains, i consider Chaos A.D. more them and thus more essential. Though if you just want METAL, then Arise by all means.

i agree with your choice for AiC and Pink Floyd. Though i love Alice in Chains self titled, i think it's more for people who are already fans of the band, whereas Dirt is such a "must have!" and a good place to start (isn't where i started though). Always hard to choose between the Kyuss albums... Siamese Dream is a good place to start for SP. As for the DEP, Calculating Infinity is equal to or greater than Miss Machine, though they're both great. Metallica... Nucleus... haven't heard of those bands or those albums. Are they like country folk music or something?

The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack is the best album ever!!

...and so on.

You're on crack...

I don't.
It's a pile of shit, as far as I'm concerned...

Disagree...

I prefer the vocals on Miss Machine. Also, the diversity in songwriting...

Vitalogy > every single Pearl Jam album. Actually. I can probably put them all in order of my faves.

1. Vitalogy
2. Binaural
3. No Code
4. Yield
5. Vs.
6. Ten

Then again. Some of those albums would be kind of equal to me (eg. No Code and Yield. Neither blew my head off. But I thought they were equally passable).

I won't give a number to Riot Act, as I'm sure this would have to be their worst and if I ever want to update my favourites, this would have to be last on my list.
Oh, that's right. I haven't heard their latest self titled one. But judging from the singles I'm not expecting much.
