    Omar is quoted as saying in this week’s Brag after being asked if they were going to be here for the Big Day Out:

    “Nah man. I want to go on my own. I want to have a real tour. I want to really be ‘in’ Australia – not that the Big Day Out isn’t. It’s great, there’s so much distraction with so many great people there. I’m trying to plan a tour right now where we would go at the end of the year after our Chili Pepper run (US tour). It would be your spring time which would be amazing because I’ve only ever been there in summer. I love Big Day Out. I’ll take it any time they offer it to us. But I really would love to go to Australia and just be us.â€

    They are going to announce the actual dates sometime this week during the breakfast show on Triple J when Dools speaks to Omar...
