I have to say that I'm happy that Muse have continued to sticking to what they do best and that's being Muse, though I understand what you're saying Luis about them maybe becoming a parody of themselves, I can at least say I'm happy they haven't gone generic and tried to change their sound so they can gain more popularity. It makes me unhappy when a band changes their sound just so they can become more popular (i.e. Korn, U2, INXS, ect.) But there are a few songs that take on a new sound like SMBH and I hope they keep experimenting with their sound but also hope they never lose that Muse undertone.
On another note, I've been reading a couple of articles where interviewers have been saying Matt is a bit of a fruit cake...
Guardian wrote:...Bellamy excused himself from any further Stateside promotional duties on the grounds he'd heard an asteroid was about to hit America and it was therefore imperative he leave the country immediately...
...Over the years, he has developed a reputation as a bit of a fruitcake: perhaps an unavoidable side-effect of cancelling interviews on the grounds of imminent asteroid-related apocalypse and telling the NME you believe in the theories of Zecharia Sitchin, a writer who claims the human race evolved as a result of visiting aliens carrying out genetic experiments on apes...
Then I read a bunch of comments of fans saying "ZOMG!!!!1111ONE! HE IS MAD

"
My personal opinion on the subject:
How can anyone go around saying Matt is mad? Sanity is what has been deemed to be sane by "sane" people. What is sane but an abstract notion someone came up with years ago to keep the masses in check.
He's completely sane and massively intelligent, the kind of person that doesn't live in a box as far as I'm concerned. That he's able to express his thoughts in public is just another strength to believe in yourself and not worry what the "world" thinks.
*shrugs*
/End rant
