Hmmm, maybe we can work on it then.

I tend to not mind it being a bit more full on and messyat the end, considering how regimented the rest of the set is.
It's nice to let our hair down and loosen up...

It's better when they're both there.
Grant kind of knows the songs better than Davin.
Davin only had one prac at mine before the gig, so he probably wasn't even playing the right shit...

I guess you could say, The Locus Scene are bloody good! Guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist Luis R (sporting an early 20th Century style moustache) was suffering from a bleeding finger, which he did not let hinder him and apologised for covering things such as the keyboard in blood. An interesting band that has vastly improved since the last time I saw them, some time last year and had since then gained a female drummer. Interestingly they have three vocalists who at times, such as the choruses of some songs, sang altogether. Other times, one would take the lead and the others lent backing vocals. A guest saxophonist joined the band on stage for a song. Then went away and the band did an interesting cover of "Eleanor Rigby" by The Beatles, which they introduced as "Smoke on the Water" showing their cheeky sense of humour again. The saxophone player returned again during the final song of the set, creating a cacophony of noise that perhaps distracted from the rest of the band but made for a dramatic finale.

Awesome!
How did you find that?

I know that Ben guy, he's at heaps of gigs...

 reading this thread is hilarious! Seriously didn't know this was in it until now. And you're not the only ones to refer to me as "that guy". During one of my courses at TAFE, it pretty much became my nickname!

...and thanks to Princess Mz Channy B. for pimping my reviewishness.
