    Well then you should be pissed at the gov, not the station itself, which is doing the best it can with the resources allowed to it...

    unfortunately you have swung and missed the point again....

    far out do you actually read what other people are posting or just...

    not only that how many times have you said this is "shit" or that is "shit" have a look at the Dresden Dolls thread for instance. There was no relativism their just alot of finality in your tone...

    I am not saying "safe" is bad but "safe" is just "safe"....you will not hear them taking chances on something that will take people out of their comfort zones...

    Wolfmother - how much safer can you get....

    Don't worry about it....

    My point was that JJJ is increasingly no different to the other commercial players in the market...that is all nothing about taste or bands or anything..

    that and that they are increasingly making very "safe" (no not shit or bad or whatever other abitrary thing I can chuck on another persons tastes) selections in their playlists....

    hey and apologies I am in a seriously pissed off mood this morning and have realised that I have brought this headspace onto the message board...

    It doesn't mean I think they're wrong for doing what they do, or that I don't respect them for what they have achieved.

    Name ONE other commercial radio station that has done for local music, and still does, what JJJ have, pls...

    IMO they always have, depeneding on the market they wanted to appeal to at the time...

    ummm I reckon there are a couple of stations worthy of praise....hey I am a big fan of JJJ's obscure programmes...you know Soundlab and that stuff it's just the commercial hours that get to me :lol: that and the seriously unfunny (IMHO) morning programme better than when Wil Anderson was there..

    Other stations worthy of praise hmm all kind of small ones...

    RRR - in Melbourne does shitloads of stuff. RRR here every once in awhile, 2RDJ 2SER here, FBI does there best there are a couple up in Brissy as well. Yeh they are local and amateur and all that but big up's to them they have shown me a shitload or really great stuff...
