    Australian Drummer Leaves Nails

    Nine Inch Nails have parted ways with Australian drummer Alex Caropetis, who scored the gig virtually weeks after he left Sydney to live in Los Angeles. Josh Freese of A Perfect Circle replaces him.

    I think you will find that Alex Caropetis was more than likely a session player anyway.

    I am sure Mr Freese will be used on that basis as he is a 1st call session player in LA, hence every cat and his dog (Evanescence, Rob Zombie, Infectious Grooves, Dweevil Zappa, Chris Cornell, Bic Runga off the top of my head) having him on their recordings.
