Totally agree. The worst performance I have seen from Norton...

Closest thing to that I can think of is "Harsh Times".

Even when he plays a complete and utter fuckwit in that other movie we watched the other night... The Hard something???

Harsh Times

I generally liked it.
I thought the story itself was great, and I REALLY loved the strong relationship between the 2 leads (I'd fucking have a ball hanging out with them!!). Freddy Rodriguez in particular really shined, but I honestly felt that Bale, whilst his usual terrific self, gave a somewhat "forced" performance. It just didn't seem natural to me at all. I also felt slightly let down by the ending...kind of left me with the feeling of, why bother...

I'd still recommend it for fans of Bale though...

Hauntingly beautiful masterpiece by Del Toro, that resonates on a grand scale with just about every tangible emotion.

Stylish and intelligent, with so many layers, the ending in particular will leave you scratching your head, trying to decide if you 'believe in magic" to get the happy ending, or if you believe that it was all in Ofelia's head, giving an ending as brutal as the rest of the movie.

Fantastic film. One of the best I've seen in a long time, and easily the best of the year...

Agreed with all of the above.

Yes it did. But I was talking about Christian. He didn't convince me. Though his acting wasn't BAD.
