    BEST Compact Discs released in 2006

    There's a small possiblity that i may recieve X-mas presents or money, which may be in the form of CDs.

    Although everyone's tastes are subjective, what are the best releases of 2006 in your opinion?

    *albums, EPs, whatever.

    It was actually a pretty lacklustre year for releases that really impressed me. I actually didn't even really buy that much new music.

    Off the top of the head, some stuff I enjoyed, in no particular order:

    Kaada - Music for Moviebikers
    Mars Volta - Amputechture
    Muse - Black Holes...
    TBE - Imago
    Mike Patton - Peeping Tom
    The Flaming Lips - At War Wth The Mystics
    The Tango Saloon - The Tango Saloon

    Out of those i only have the Peeping Tom album, so far.

    i can't stand Mars Volta. That singer needs to be muted.

    Very much want to get the Tango Saloon and Kaada is very cool too.
