Thanks

Edit: I see [thank-s] is another of those words. I'll get used to this

Friday Night -

Stayed at home with Kyles watched DVD's

Wolf Creek
Enjoyed this one immensely. Beautifully edited, gorgeous cinematography.
In terms of content I would think unsettling would be a word that I would use. Artistically everything pointed to the violence that everyone has talked about. Won't spoil anything. Well acted, excellent pacing, music credit goes to every department on this one.

Constant Gardener

Great British style thriller. I really rate Weiss and Finnes well done. Top notch movie. Very touching and poignant love story. Kind of a forgotten issue whilst people have been concentrating on Iraq millions are dying in Africa due to the ravages of AIDS and civil strife.

Saturday

Went to celebrate Kylee's Bday at Luis' restaurant. About 14 of us. Sat down. Good food, awesome company. The most memorable thing the service staff, awesome. The waitress not sure what her name was, was fanfuckingtastic....had good food and then retired for some drinks with Craig and Megan...

Sunday

Spent the day recovering, cleaning and watching Red Dwarf..

that's about it..

Friday: Went to work at 7am.
Came home just after midday, got ready, and headed off to my friends wedding with Channy in tow. It was to be held in a stock standard reception place, with the ceremony also taking place there. Arrived late, but luckily the bride was even later. The Ceremony was ok, not too long, but there was no AC and no seats, so a little uncomfortable. My buddy Glen who was the groom burst into tears as soon as he saw his bride, and could barely repeat his vows. I would have cried too, as her dress was pretty ugly, and the bridesmaids dresses were even more hideous! The reception was very long and pretty boring. Fairly standard affair, and a little too "staged" for my liking. They had about a thousand speeches. By the time all that was over it only left about an hour to chill and party, which is kind of lame. Food and drinks were good though. Went back to a friends house after, and drank and talked shit until about 5:30am. Channy and I crashed at my mates place...

Saturday: Up at 11am, got dressed and went to work again. Home by 2pm, and got ready for another wedding. Made it there almost on time, but again the bride was nice and late. The ceremony was on the oceanside clifftops of Clovelly. Nice spot, but a little hard for the ladies in high heels to walk to, and windy as hell! The ceremony was gorgeous, and the brides (My Cousin) dress was one of the best I've ever seen. The reception was at a surfclub around the corner. Great view, and decorated nicely. It was a laid back afair, with finger foods, and no set tables or seating arrangments. There was a great vibe to the room, and I got to chat to plenty of relos I hadn't seen in a while. Speeches were again a bit long, but pretty entertaining and funny.

Afterwards we got dropped at the Townie, and met up with some friends and drank the night away. Arrived home around 4am...

It was amazing just how different the 2 weddings were. I know I enjoyed the saturday one a lot more...

Sunday: Woke up late. Made love, then went out for a late lunch at the Sando with my Princess. Came home and chilled out for a while. Grabbed a pizza and a vid, The Proposition. Not a bad movie, but have no idea why everyone raves about it. Sleeeeeeeeeppppp....
