    If you need drugs to perform, then I've got no respect for them. I can appreciate the music (apart from Full Scale) but that doesn't mean I have to like the people in the band.

    Do you think Jim Morrison ever did a gig straight?
    Jimi Hendrix?
    The Mars Volta?
    The list goes on....

    Not to mention artists in other mediums, such as painting and writing.
    The likes of William Burroughs and Hunter S Thompson basically made a career out of being drug addicts, and managed to produce some great work.

    I just think it's a little ignorant to judge people on the fact that they may use the influence of drugs for creative purposes.
    If it doesn't hurt anyone, and helps an artist produce, then why does it matter?

    I have more contempt for these straight edge poofters...
