INTERACT
Bringing a Different Music Scene to Liverpool
This will be one of the most exciting live gigs that Western Sydney audiences have seen for a long time.
Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre presents and original line up of Sydney & South West Sydney bands for an all age drug and alcohol free youth music event not to be missed.
In a fusion of sounds that experiment with different types of music the Interact festival will get bodies rockin’. Including an awesome line up of established and emerging bands this day/night Festival is one of the major music events this year.
Bands include the Sydney five-piece Me vs. You whose Punk/Metal/Hardcore sound fuses together to create melodies that linger in the audience’s consciousness. Many Machines on Nine will pump out their unique blend of heavy guitar based, electronic, music that is balanced buy a solid core melody and its emotional honesty lends the band a surprising degree of accessibility. One of the most anticipated acts is Self | Is a Seed whose focus on expression and creativity rather than viewing music as a commodity has created a large fan base.
This Festival has been organised in response to the plight of many Western Sydney muso’s who lamented the lack of live venues for youth and the fact that the West to often be bypassed by touring bands. It provides the opportunity for bands to play outside of their regular venues accessing new audiences and performing in a professional setting.
Held at the Francis Greenway Centre this exclusive and one off gig will create a live music experience that is full of emotive power and includes a complete spectrum of alternative beats and sounds.
