Yep definately will be a good show. Will be there with bells on

A very talented gal. Her bass player Zoe is also a musical freak...

Here's hoping for James Muller to be playing with them....

I'll second that. It's even more obvious now that I'm discovering myself how difficult learning the double bass is. Great fun though

If I was ever considering starting another band she would be my benchmark for a bassplayer...

might even try to swipe her..

Started around 8:30pm.

My keys chops have become dusty and neglected :puppy: Would need a year of practise with some nasty Nazi piano teacher (ala my teenage years) to get back into form...

but thanks

Yeah, Entropic go alright. I reckon a CD of their stuff would bore me, but live they are very entrancing...

I saw her band last night (Zoe and the Buttercups) at the Excelsior Jazzgroove show. Wow! What a performance. She's totally HOT on stage and the band as a whole were REALLY tight and entertaining. The whole show had a great energy that hit me instantly. They're quite versatile too. Not just Jazz, but some sprinklings of country, rock, blues and even reggae! The trombone dude's funny guy who writes very amusing lyrics too.

Definately checking them out again. Oh yeah, I think Elana Stone is back on the 20th or 21st at the Mac Hotel again this month :D
