I agree, the results are too fast and too permanent. so it can be done with little thought one way or the other.

Anyway. What I mean is that the only motivation I see that drove him to end it all had more to do with a sense of despair, hopelessness and feeling like it's just not worth it anymore.

The thing I really disapprove of is someone doing that when they have a child. I mean, if you can't live for yourself, at least live for that little person who's very existence you're responsible for.

Hence, coward...

Not only is it cowardly, it's also inherently selfish. Totally disregarding of loved ones left behind.

It's an easy escape for the weak, who are too chicken shit to deal with their day to day problems. There is NEVER any excuse to kill yourself. It's simply running away from said problems, and causing others to suffer in return.

Anway, in the end, I guess it's natures way of culling out the weak willed from the gene pool.

People need to harden the fuck up and work to solve their problems in a practical and productive way...

I agree with the selfish part. Possibly the nature part. But then in a weird kind of logic, that could be saying suicide is a GOOD thing, so I won't jump straight to that conclusion.

But I can't let myself assume that some people are simply weak willed. People I've known who feel like ending it all seem the total opposite of this. I could be wrong about them, but it's not like I was the only one who noticed.

Also, I don't think there's such a thing as "everyday" problems. I know for a fact some shit people have gone through I could never hope to empathize with.

At the same time, I'm in NO WAY condoning suicide whatsoever. It's just that I don't want to look down on anyone who may do that, as there is no real way of me knowing what was driving them in that direction. I'm just trying to stay objective.

And so you should.

It's all relative to the experience of the individual, and the effect it has on them...

i agree with that part. not much hurts a family like dying does.

i mostly agree with that. and i would say that i think it takes strong will to physically go through with ending your life permanently.

*PS: "everyday" is bad grammar. every day. two words.

Let's see... today would be Kurt Cobain's 40th Birthday, if he was still alive. Blah... oh well, whatever, nevermind?

If he was still alive, Courtney Love would not have become so popular...

Like Layne Staley... Rest in Peace.

Mind you, Kurt was more popular. Perhaps would've become a Syd Barrett situation with or without the whole insane asylum thing.
