[quote]James Iha has confirmed he will definitely not be taking part in the Smashing Pumpkins’ reunion later this year. Iha, who joined the Pumpkins in 1988 and remained in the band until their 2000 split, has confirmed he is too busy on other projects for the tour.

While sources close to Iha had claimed he would not reunite with former bandmates Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin, details of a Rolling Stone interview surfaced yesterday confirming this was the case.
