We got there about 2:30-3:00 and left about 5ish I think.

We were going to meet Maggie there but I think she had gone by the time we got there...

Nice show guys,

major improvement on the last time I saw you guys play.

bit of a weird venue, it looked like it should be up on the Goldie or sumpen.
My thoughts on the night I think I tried to explain but was a bit drunked, my main point is Luis you need to be in the middle personally I thought that you guys didn't engage the audience in the performance enough and having someone in the middle wearing a white shirt and white shoes while the rest of you are in black looks a bit weird.

not trying to be an asshole just trying to give some constructive feedback

Thanx...

I actually really ended up liking it.
It was a fairly good comfortable stage to play on, good sound, and the room had a generally good vibe.

Will definitely play there again...

And like I said on the night, it's quite awkward having me in the middle because of the keyboard rig.
I do understand your point though, and will put some thought into what we can do...

Agreed.
I was in a weird mood. Whenever I tried to start some banter in between songs it just fell flat. I was also worried about the new laptop setup, so was concentrating on that a lot.

yeah,

congrats on the evening, i was suprised, well not suprised but pleased with how far you guys have come since I have seen you last. which I think was with Scott at BB or bizzo's??

anyhoo, the set was put together rewally well and I like the mix that was in that room. which was always my biggest criticism - that I could never hear you sing ...or the other guys sing for that matter. And while your music is very good, you come across to me as a full package kinda band - where all the elements are required to pull the songs off as they were intended. (hope that makes sense)
the point being, I could hear everything and the songs sounded great.

The first song almost had a Foo fighter vibe I thought. which felt different and a lot more (not too much) rockier for you guys. not a bad thing, I think this is a good way for you to strat your set and grab some ears and eyes from the room.

Myt favourite track is the one with the (human voice) keys one- second or third song I think (i was pretty fucking smashed, and lucky to remember at all). that song is great, and as well sits nice at the front ofg the set.

My only beefs are exactly the same as Laethe's.
He really does look out of place. I know you guys don't deliberately dress to a theme ( collectively I mean) but 3 of you fit the same anyhoo y'know.
and to have him in the middle (and he moves around the most too) makes him the focus and it felt odd.

but yeah, nice gig all the same.
we'll catch up for some m,ore beers soon.

On the point of Luis being on the side...

Aesthetically, it probably does look wrong but if he was in the middle, apart from the keyboard being in an awkward position, it would severly restrict the interaction between the three band members at front of stage because of all the gear in between.

Maybe Luis should play on the drum riser a la Christ Art Museum
