Teenager dies after Bondi Beach collapse

A teenager found lying on a footpath at Sydney's Bondi Beach has died in hospital.

Police said emergency crews were called to Campbell Parade about 3.30am (AEDT) after reports a man in his late teens was lying unconscious on the footpath.

He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital but later died.

The circumstances surrounding the man's injuries were unclear but investigators were treating his death as suspicious, police said.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Mystery death of a free spirit

A teenager who died after being found lying unconscious at Bondi Beach was a devoted Hillsong Church christian and a "free spirit",his family said yesterday.Todd Sandilands,19 was found on Campbell Pde at 3:30 am last Tuesday.He had a broken arm and shoulder.
His father Greg said his son was a "bit of a gypsy spirit"who loved to help people.Police said Todd had last seen unharmed about 2:30 am.

That's a nice way of saying his son was a fuck-up, a junkie, and as a fther he had no control over him.
