Knives Out

Anyone ever had an epiphany?

Ok, hear me out...

Last Saturday at work, I was talking shit with a workmate of mine, Sam.
The conversation led to movies, and in particular, how hawt Denise Richards looked dressed as a schoolgirl in Wild Things. The scene in question was when you realise Matt Dillon is banging both her and Nev Campbell. We both agreed that this was a great scene indeed...

Anyway...we kept discussing movies and I mentioned how I had just bought Starship Troopers on DVD for $10 the other day, along with some other movies. My buddy had not seen it, so I told him a bit about it, how great it was, and that he should check it out.

When I next talked to Sam a few days later, he said that the weirdest thing happened to him after work the other night. As soon as he got home he turned on the TV (He has Cable), and Wild Things was on, right at the end, just about to finish. Imagine his surprise.

But that's not the weird thing. He let Wild Things finish, and waited to see what was on next...and on came Starship Troopers!! WTF??

We were both like...

Fast forward to Saturday night. Sam and I finished work, and drove to another work friends bday party. We were there for a couple of hours had a few beers, then drove back home, me dropping him off along the way. The car radio was playing shit, we couldn't find anything, so turned it down low. Now, we started talking about cheesy music that we liked, and I know Sam is a huge Bon Jovi fan, so I started giving him shit etc... we had a laugh, and talked about our fave Bon Jovi tunes, and the fact that we'd both seen them live...then...we here the familiar synth intro to...Living On A Prayer!

Again, we were both like...

We couldn't believe the "coincidence", and started discussing about the weird occurence the other night, and how the 2 must be connected somehow...

Then the penny dropped...

I remembered standing in line at the supermarket the other day. The line was long, so I grabbed a gossip trash mag to have a bit of a read. In the mag was an article on the break up of long time couple Heather Locklear, and Ritchie Sambora!

"So what" I hear you say?

Well, it turns out that there is a big drama unfolding over this break up, due to Ritchie Sambora now having hooked up with Heathers best friend...none other than....wait for it....DENISE RICHARDS!!

W...T...F...??

I may be ill-educated, but I fail to see how that is an epiphany. More a string a well timed coincedences.

I'm still waiting for the grand revelation... are you psychic? does the world revolve around you (in the sense that what you say happens)? If it's the latter can you say outloud.. "Julie will come across 15,000$ in the next week" that would be much appreciated

That happens quite often to me, eerie coincidences are cool.

You ARE a strange thing...
I have the choice of being constantly active and happy or introspectively passive and sad. Or I can go mad by ricocheting in between. - Sylvia Plath

I can't help but feel that the spiritual world is trying to communicate something to me...

Perhaps Denise Richards is the anti christ?
