Thursday - Went to Karaoke with my friend Linz and Luis. Proceeded to make a fool of myself by singing 'LoveShack'(B52's), 'It's Oh So Quiet' (Bjork), 'Summertime' (Jazz standard) and 'Epic' Faith No More. Very trashy.
Friday - Finished work late and went to The Rocks to watch some friends play some jazz. Went home for a bit then went to the Lansdowne to watch the Follow. Stayed for about an hour then ventured to the Townie - again getting lovely wasted.
Saturday - Woke up late. Went out to get breakfast and Luis got hassled by some hardass meatheads that are moving (have moved) into our building. Apparently they were there a couple of nights before as well and one of the other guys that live there saw them hassling some girls. He wanted to call the cops and report harrassment and verbal assault as they had said to Luis 'Fooly bro, jus' fuck awf before u get hert!'
Anyhoo, ended up having a lovely breakfast and then Luis went to work. I walked around Newtown for a bit wanting to buy something and came home with Lamb's 'What Sound' and Le Tigre's 'This Island'. Went home, had a little nap and then got ready to watch Junto at the Excelsior. Ended up going to the Townie again and not going to bed until about 5am.
Sunday - Woke up around 1 and went to lunch in Bondi at Hog's Breath Cafe. I had lamb shanks and Luis had some TexMex thingy. Stuffed ourselves stupid and walked out of there feeling like we'd eaten a bowling ball each. Bought 'Babe, Pig in the City' for $10 (Luis loves this movie), walked around the markets for a little bit then ventured home. We WERE going to do housework but...
Ended up going to the Sando to watch Reflection Point. It's a really nice room upstairs -would suit a Red Room performance...Went home and watch 'Babe' Then crashed out after eating some yummy dinner (garlic prawns and rice for me).
