BTW, Channy did you take a course in law before getting the job? or a legal secretary course?

Also, I realize now that the only time you'll see Her Majesty The Queen v. [defendant] is when it's a criminal case, cos the Prosecutor for Criminal proceedings is The Queen. so when filing a motion for Labour disputes the parties do not include The Queen.

I seriously need a course on this :| I had Dan just give me a crash course of filing motions and suits, it was enlightening to say the least.

I never doubted you weren't :D You're super mulit-talented!

Being fluently bilingual helped me get this job, as well as being real bright with computers. I'm the receptionist/secretary/computer technician

But I seriously need to learn more about how the legal system works, to better myself at my job. Not that I find it complicated but terms is something I need to get used to, when I started working here it was almost laughable :P I knew more English legal terms than French ones but most of my work is done in French. I was super intimidated to be working in a firm, I'd held other office jobs, from admin assistant to accounting but for some reason working with Lawyers intimidated me. I'm over that now though, I just need to learn more about how everything works
